About the Society
Making things, slowly, together
Her Sunday Society started round a kitchen table with a few friends, a pan of melted wax and nowhere else to be. We realised how rarely we got an afternoon like that, one where you make something with your hands and nobody checks their phone.
So now there are a few of them a year. Small groups, everything laid out for you, tea in the pot and cake on the side. You don't need to be creative or know anyone. Most people come on their own or with one friend and leave with a few more.
The candles came out of the workshops. Each one is poured by hand in small batches and named after a part of Sunday we'd like more of.
